My new car... New Corolla Verso

I bought new Corolla Verso at the afternoon..... Vendor will complete legal registy of my car tomorrow morning. I will take delivery of my car from Local vendor at the morning....
1.8 lt, 130 hp MMT(multi mode transmission=Manual+tiptronic automatic) gearbox, Elegant rigging level.....
- 9 airbag,
- ABS+EBD+ESP+Brake assist,
- keyless engine starting system
- Ondash 6 CD changer

I just know that, front bumpers down side is very similar with new Verso.. Back-lights is lexus style..
I saw new sedan corolla in Adapazari/Turkey plant, but u know, HB producing in England. An engineer shows a HB photo. But, he hasn't accept to take photos.. :x :x

meruse can you give us your first driving impressions on the corolla verso?
I am interested mostly in the following:
- Motor performance and noise.
- Interior quality.
- comfort and handling.
- CD player performance.
- Fuel consumption (I guess the trip computer is giving relatively accurate measurements)
- Available space in the last (3rd) row of seats.
- How much did it cost in Turkey (Preferably in s)

Actually its not very noise but gear shifts are short. So, if you want to drive it on higher rpm, it may noise.. Motor is same as Avensis. But isolation is better then avensis.. But u know my Verso is MMT and 1.8 lt.. My cars performance is not best but its normal for a automatic gear.. If u dont want automatic gear, 1.6 lt is enough.. U may investigate tech below link

- Interior quality.

My old car is 2002 Corolla HB. Verso is better then E12 HB.

- comfort

If you are not living in a town, you dont have any problem. Suspansion is harder then HB..

- Handling

I did not test Altea but I have to do drive test with C-Max before bought my car.. Focus handling is better on sportive driven. But petrol consuption is not good...

- CD player performance.

No.. it's not any MP3 player option in Turkey. Normally it s sufficient. I install audison amplifier and I change my speakers with focal utopia.. I'm already using original CD player.. Its fine...

- Fuel consumption

City :8.0 lt/100km (ave. speed is 36 km/h)
Istanbul trafic is similar with Athens.. It always jam.

Urban: 5.6lt (Ave. Speed is 103 km/h)
it is my holiday average consuption.. I visit my family. They are 600 km away from Istanbul.. It's nearby place Lesvos.

- How much did it cost in Turkey
(Preferably in s. Prices have not yet been announced here
but it is estimated to start above 20.000 s (for the basic 1.6)

1.6 lt Comfort (base level in Turkey) =~ 14.500 Euros excl. Taxes.
1.6 lt Elegant =~ 17500 Euro excl. taxes.
1.8 lt Elegant =~ 18900 Euro excl. taxes.
1.8 lt Elegant MMT =~ 19500Euro excl. taxes.

It is any diesel option in Turkey.
