Goto make RPM meter work for Charade 4EFTE swaped
Goto make my tacho RPM meter work,mind has a factory fitted tacho meter in dash, which is not working right now, have to connect it properly to 4 EFTE, anybody can help me?
It has a Charade tacho meter in speedo, (Factory) now want to run it on 4EFTE engine, ........??/
I have a Charade G100, and recently swapped the 4EFTE, RPM meter in dash isnt working, anybody knows anything regarding that?
Its Not Working Because Its Not Getting Signals...
Attach RPM Signal Wire To IGN- On ECU.....Then It Will Work...!

Well...You Have Posted Whole Lot Of ECU pinouts
Well I Mistyped It...Its IGN- on Ignitor...Not ON ECU
Ignitor Have 5 pin Connector......
2 of them are IGF and IGT...One Is Wire Coming From Coil Into Igniter...One Is Wire Also Mated With Injector Power +12v From Efi Main Relay.....!!
The One Left Is IGN- Which Gives Tachometer Signal....
You HAve To Check For These On Ignitor...
The Pics You Posted Mentioning All Pinouts Along With COnnector WIll Help You...
Just Zoom In And Check For Required Pin

Check For Wires By Tracing Them 1st....I Just Gave An Idea...Its Not 100%...Check Before Doing...!
The One Left In Ignitor Is Only IGN-.......
There are two wires attached to distributor,either they connect with the ECU , or coming from ignitor, doesnt matter, both carry PULSE signals,i connected it to one of them,this signal can only be read by a signal counter, these signals are to be rectified, using diode and a Noise sensor, A Noise sensor has capacitor to store some current for quicker and smoother display of the needle,
Formula feed in the Pulse counter microprocessor chip would be something like this
RPM=Number of pulses counted/unit time
and it reads live readings,i.e. can be changed all the time,doesnt take average,ok, so now whenever you give it a pulse, which is related to crank movements(remember 4 cylinder)it should count correct Revs/Minute, this is the basics for any digital chip RPM meter,you can put in a Digital display or a needle (voltmetric display as you like)
Από τα παραπάνω βλέπω ότι και στο charade (που μπαίνει μοτερ 4E-FTE!) εχει το ίδιο ακριβώς πρόβλημα! στο τελευταίο ποστ που έκανα copy λεέι και πως μετατρέπουμε το σήμα, δλδ η πλακετούλα που λέγαμε. Ωραία όλα αυτά ακόμα δεν ξέρω τα καλώδιο που πάνε στο ταμπλό ποια είναι κτλ.
