Locked, loaded and ready to shred; Gymkhana GRiD is back, and this season its set to bring its signature style of automotive mayhem to Marathon in Greece on the 29th and 30th of October.

That’s right, for the first time in the history of the sport, Gymkhana will be heading to the home of the legendary Acropolis Rally for a one of a kind weekend of tire smoke, flames, and sideways competition.

If last season’s epic showdown at Santa Pod was anything to go by, which featured a number of world firsts – including the UK racing debut of Ken Block’s Ford Mustang ‘Hoonicorn’ RTR, the largest gathering of Monster Energy athletes at motorsport event, and Luke Woodham taking a second GRiD championship title – then this year’s visit to Greece will surely be off the hook.

“I’m incredibly excited to announce that Gymkhana GRiD is heading to Greece this year,” said Ken Block. “When I started Gymkhana it was a way of testing my car control and basically having fun behind the wheel. Through hosting the GRiD competitions, and shooting the Gymkhana videos, it’s taken me all over the world, and I can’t wait to head out to Greece. I’ve watched the Acropolis Rally for a long time, and the enthusiasm from the crowds is just on another level. I think it’s going to be a very special weekend for sure.”
